Will we be able to make it to this reservation I read that the Candlelight show is about 40 minutes, but I dont know how. I also made 8:15pm reservations for La Hacienda de San Angel. If you can’t get a spot at La Hacienda, try the more quaint and quiet location inside the pyramid at the Mexico pavilion and eat at San Angel Inn. I made a lunchtime ADR for the Candlelight Dining Package at Garden Grill. Of course, there is a chance that walk-ups will be available but I have a feeling this will be a HOT location at Epcot for some time. Be sure to call (407) WDW-DINE at least 180 days from your check-in date to ensure that you grab a seat. Get your advance dining reservations (or ADRs) early if you want to land a spot at La Hacienda. The windows are huge and most seats in the dining room offer a great view. The quick service menu includes tacos on handmade corn tortillas, nachos, guacamole and churros. While many folks thought that the Rose and Crown offered the best possible viewing for Illuminations, now that La Hacienda de San Angel is open many people consider it to be the new winner for best restaurant for viewing Illuminations. The counter service locale will be open each day at 11 a.m. La Cantina de San Angel will also reopen. The menu consists of queso fundido (warm cheese with peppers and spicy chorizo sausage), tacos, roasted meats and shrimp, black bean soup, chocolate churros and fruit empanadas. My friends over at DisneyFoodBlog have heard that all the chairs in the restaurant face the waterfront so you can catch a glimpse of the laser and light spectacular. The restaurant will seat 250 and will be the PERFECT spot for viewing Illuminations. I'm hoping it will be worth it for a nice entertaining dinner, and not having to fight the crowds to watch Illuminations. But from one report, if you are sitting there you can leave your seats during the show to go stand by the windows (some windows, somewhere apparently.) The management not only allows it, but assists you in the process. There is a smaller room that has basically no view of the fireworks. Otherwise the highest fireworks get a bit cut off. How much of the seating has a good view of Illuminations If we dont have a view of Illuminations where we are seated, is there a viewing area for those eating at La Hacienda de San Angel. The closer to the window, obviously the better. We have a 7:45pm ADR for La Hacienda de San Angel and we are hoping to catch Illuminations if possible. La Hacienda is a newly constructed restaurant.įrom what I understand, MOST of the restaurant has a good view of Iluminations. I've just done some research, as I too have dinner ressies hoping to catch a good spot for Illuminations. If outdoor dining appeals to you, be sure to seek out a front patio table at the Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room. Well since no one has answered, I'll take a crack at it.
